Baldor Ranks 144th in the USA by Information Week 2009

To be ranked in the InformationWeek 500, companies with revenue of $250 million or more must complete a rigorous application on their technology strategies. The process includes quantitative and qualitative assessments of business tech innovation. Completed applications are reviewed by a panel of InformationWeek editors, who determine the ranking. The data is aggregated for all 500 companies and by industry.

We are proud that Baldor has achieved the ranking of 144th in the USA, beating out companies that included: Dell, Earnest and Young, Southwest Airlines, Motorola, Emerson, National Oilwell Varco, Owens Corning, AIT, Ford Motor Company, Geico, Graybar Electric, Microsoft and Regal Beloit to name a few. In the manufacturing category, Baldor was deservedly ranked 7th in the USA behind Aerojet General, Alliance One International, Lockheed Martin, Eaton Corporation, The Standard Register, and Deere and Company.

At Baldor, we have always believed that we had a world-class information system and it is nice to be recognized and confirmed by an independent group such as Information Week. Congratulations to the entire team in our Information Systems department for the good work they do. To see more, please visit InformationWeek.com.
