The Baldor Electric facilities in the Fort Smith, Arkansas area were honored this week to receive the United Way of Fort Smith Area 2014 Chairman’s Award. This award goes to a company that continually demonstrates dedication and commitment to United Way. Baldor was recognized for employee giving and being a loyal partner to the 34 local agencies.

Accepting the award on behalf of Baldor was Gina Stafford, Campaign Chairperson for 2014. “The United Way Campaign is really a team effort here at Baldor,” she said. “There are so many employees at each location that help out, take charge of events, and promote the benefits of the United Way. This is a campaign for our community, by our employees.”
