If you haven’t read the March edition of Food Processing, you should! It is the annual Reader’s Choice Awards balloting issue, showing the results of a survey sent to the readership of the magazine, which is typically end users in the food processing industry. The question commonly asked goes something like this: “If you could pick just one company to do business with, which would it be in each specific category”? The survey is unaided recall, so it is not a pick list of names to choose from. The customers have to know who they want and write in the name.

In the Motors & Drives category, Baldor ranked #1 with 40% of the votes…nearly 4 times as many as the #2 choice which was Rockwell Automation. SEW Eurodrive ranked #3. We should be very proud of our position in this important industry and continue to find new ways to make sure our position remains secure as the #1 choice. We can do this with new and innovative products, by providing better customer service than our competitors and giving the food processing industry more total Value than any other supplier out there.
