Baldor Electric Company is pleased to introduce a new platform of DC motors in a power dense, low profile package with enhanced DC motor technology for performance and reliability. The RPM PD series offers an alternative to motor rewinds or expensive AC conversions.

Performance in the RPM PD series has been enhanced with an optimized armature design to produce full power, over extended speed ranges with smooth torque transitions and minimal cogging, while operating at very low speeds.

Longer length standard brushes, with a mechanical monitoring system, offer increased run time between scheduled maintenance shutdowns. Standard brushes are placed in a rotatable brush gearing system for a simplified change out process - including a “snap point” alignment pin, allowing the brush gear system to be rotated when removing or adding brushes.
