Baldor's Marion, NC Plant Wins Excellence Award
Baldor’s Marion, NC, plant will receive the 2007 North American Maintenance Excellence (NAME) Award, presented by the Foundation for Industrial Maintenance Excellence. The 174,000 square foot Marion plant employees over 100 people and manufactures Dodge mounted tapered/spherical roller bearings.
The NAME award is widely regarded as the most prestigious recognition within the industrial maintenance discipline. The award is a comprehensive assessment of a maintenance organization’s processes and performance against a world class standard. Awards are presented to plants on the basis of their maintenance department’s ability to provide capacity assurance for operational excellence in the areas of organization, work process and materials management. The award will be presented to the Marion plant on January 14.

Baldor’s Marion plant will be the 21st recipient of the NAME award since it was founded in 1990.
