Baldor’s Belton Employees Accident-Free for 16 Years
Fort Smith, Ark. – Baldor Electric Company is pleased to announce its Belton, South Carolina facility has operated more than 16 years without a lost time accident. This team of approximately 125 employees also recently surpassed 4,000,000 hours without a lost time accident.
“The employees of the Belton Plant take great pride in making safety the foundation of their work,” said Mike Ross, Plant Manager. “Great customer service, world class production, and excellent housekeeping cannot be accomplished without first having a safe working environment. Achieving 16 years without a lost time accident is a substantial achievement that has placed this plant in the top 1% in the entire state of South Carolina. All the credit for this accomplishment goes to the individuals who have worked at this location and their continued dedication to working safely.”

The Belton facility, at its current location since 1995, produced more than 250,000 industrial gear reducers during 2013.
