Control Design Magazine sent questionnaires to their machine-builder and system-integrator subscribers, asking them to name the companies that have the best technology value.

For the eleventh year in a row, Baldor●Reliance motors won first place in the Industrial Electric Motor category with 39% of the vote.

And after coming in a close second in last year’s contest, (the first time the publication included gearing), Baldor’s Dodge enclosed gearing won first place in the Gear Reducer category with 18% of the votes.

Voting is done through an unaided ballot, meaning participants don’t get a list of vendors or products to choose from. Instead they are asked to name the companies that provide them the best technology value. Once they choose the best product providers, voters then rate the service and support they receive from them.

“We are honored that customers voted for us again in the 2013 Readers’ Choice Awards,” says Tracy Long, Baldor Marketing Vice President. “We also realize that we must continue to earn this recognition each and every day because we know customers have many options when it comes to buying the products they need.
