About the Speakers:

David Steen is a Product Manager at Baldor Electric Company, a member of the ABB Group. Steen has worked for Baldor for more than 20 years and has a background in mechanical design engineering. He works closely with the food and beverage industry and has published a number of articles related to electric motors including motor efficiency requirements, motor selection, motor shaft grounding and washdown motors.

Bevan Christiansen is the Product Specialist for Baldor Electric Company’s Low Voltage NEMA Motors. Bevan has worked for Baldor, a member of the ABB group, for 14 years with a background in mechanical design engineering. He has a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, and specializes in creating market leading stainless steel motors that are primarily designed to service the Food and Beverage industry.
