Standard Release Document SHH-1.20 Release Document Software: SHH-1.20 June 1, 07 First Release of VS1 for EB0490B00 This software is for production release on H2 control board EB0490B00 Rev 'C'. This is revision 1 of VS1 firmware for AC servo products. It is not compatible with previous revisions of the control board. It is intended to replace previous Rev 'C' control board firmware. SHH-1.20 supports one type of control method: AC Servo. Bug Fixes and Improvements since Last Release. 1. A combination of Motor Pole Pairs and Motor Rated Speed resulting in a calculated value for Motor Rated Frequency higher than 500Hz causes the drive to reset and requires a power to recover. This has been fixed. 2. Calc Model Parameter P2414 no longer changes max speed or the motor FLA. 3. E-Pot is now saved to non-volatile memory so that it is preserved across power cycles. New Features since Last Release 1. VS1 features have been implemented according to specification SD-10121. See manual for details. Minor changes to text strings for VS1 release. POWER BASE diagnostic screen changed to DRIVE. Plus, changed names of P16 to DRIVE O/L LEFT and P48 to MOTOR O/L LEFT. And top menu: BASIC PARAMs to BASIC PARAMS. 2. PLC Configuration Parameters, P3417-P2430, and Timer Parameters, P3442-P3443, and Timer Monitor Parameters, P117 and P118, added to PLC Mode per specification: SD10101. Added parameters P3435, Comparator Constant A2, and P3436, Comparator Constant B2 to the PLC Mode block to all offsets in the comparison equations. Maximum is 100% Minimum is –100% with 0% for default. Maximums for P3432 and P3434 have been increased from 100% to 200%. 3. Monitor Parameter P16 has a new name: "DRIVE O.L.L". To distinguish it from the P48 "MOTOR O.L.L" motor overload left. 4. NEC requirement added. Diagnostic screen showing Motor O.L.L (Overload Left), Motor Volts and Current has been added. Added logic and control to make NEC Motor and Drive I2T requirement active across power cycles. Known Issues Limitations: None
