Product and Price Information Format

The PTDA-BSA Product & Price Information Format (PPIF) is a standardized format for electronic transmission of manufacturer price and product updates. In 2005, a joint PTDA-BSA Task Force was formed to address compliance issues and requests for enhancements to the Product & Price Information Format (PPIF). 
PPIF v. 2.0, released on OCt. 18, 2005, includes:

• Expanded field definitions and comments to address confusion over correct use and/or interpretation.
• Improved nomenclature to flag new, obsolete and price-on-request (POR) products.
• New fields for minimum order quantity, conditional price multiplier, conditional invoice price, and user-defined use.

The PPIF files available for download below conform to the PPIF v. 2.0 specification.
