Flex+DriveII
Baldor's Flex+DriveII is a very flexible intelligent AC servo drive with integrated motion controller for both simple and sophisticated indexing applications. A simple preset position or speed table can be configured from the Windows front end. Each move or speed can be initiated via the digital inputs. The 16 preset moves can be expanded to 256 moves by means of the I/O expansion card. For more complex indexing applications, Flex+DriveII can be programmed in a single-tasking version of the MintMT programming language.

Flex+DriveII provides control of both rotary and linear motors. Fieldbus options include DeviceNet, Profibus-DP and CANopen. The onboard master encoder input can be used for gearing applications.

Flex+DriveII is available in single phase from 2.5A to 7.5A and three phase from 2.5A to 27.5A.

Versatile programming is provided by means of MintMT, a Basic like programming language or the supplied ActiveX components.

  • 1 x analog input - 14-bit differential for command reference or general purpose
  • I/O expansion (factory fit option): 10 digital inputs/5 outputs
  • I/O usage configurable through WorkBench v5 front end
  • Factory fit fieldbus connectivity: CANopen, DeviceNet, Profibus-DP
  • RS232 and RS485 serial channel, user selectable
  • MintMT single-tasking programming with 64k program space
  • Support for indexing moves and simple software gearboxes
  • ActiveX libraries supplied free of charge
