Mike Kozlowski, Baldor Electric Company, Recognized For Technical Paper Presentation by IEEE Pulp & Paper Committee

Mike Kozlowski, Baldor’s senior principal engineer for the paper and forest products industry, won the “Second Best Conference Paper Award” given by the Pulp & Paper Industry Committee of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Kozlowski presented the paper, Wound Rotor to Induction Motor and VFD Conversion, at the June IEEE conference. Out of 23 papers presented, PPIC technical committee members chose Kozlowski’s paper for special recognition because the topic was of interest to members, was well developed, and offered a significant contribution to technical understanding.

IEEE is an international non-profit professional organization for the advancement of technology related to electricity.
