Baldor VFD Selector

Baldor is pleased to announce the new Variable Frequency Drive Selector app. This easy to use app will select the appropriate Baldor VS1 or ACB drive for your application.

The app uses the electrical motor's full load amperes (amps), the source voltage and a few required attributes such as enclosure type and overload capability to select the appropriate drive.

If you do not know the full load amps of the motor, just enter a catalog number and the app will provide the motor's full load amperes at the operating voltage you specify. Or enter the partial catalog number and the app will provide a list of similar catalog numbers to choose from.

The results are displayed on screen and can be emailed as a PDF document.

Baldor Energy $avings Tool

The Baldor Energy $avings Tool is used to determine the annual operating costs and kilowatt hour (kWh) usage of an electrical motor. The program compares the efficiency of an existing motor to a comparable Baldor Super-E NEMA Premium efficient motor, shows the results and suggests a replacement Baldor motor.

An estimated payback is calculated by dividing the investment cost of the new motor by potential electricity savings obtained by upgrading to the new Baldor Super-E motor.

Additional motor information such as application, rpm, phase and voltage are used by the program to select an appropriate Baldor replacement motor. The program selects the appropriate replacement motor that has the highest efficiency rating and lowest list price.
